Ananthu V/S Nusrath Review:
Ananth Krishna Karmadharitaya (Vinay Rajkumar) and Nuzrath Fatima Baig (Latha Hegde) have only one thing in common — that they are law students. Both follow different faiths and belong to orthodox families with strong religious beliefs. While one might assume that these differences could pose the ever-common threat that new love faces, the bigger issue here is that this love is one-sided. Nuzrath does not share Ananthu’s feelings.

The two part ways to meet again years later in court. While Ananthu is a hot-shot criminal lawyer, Nuzrath is posted as a judge at a family court. Then begins the courtroom game of words, of cases that are particularly chosen to cross paths and to impress. But issues at play include faith, as well as other interests.

Vinay Rajkumar and Latha Hegde excel in their subtle roles. B Suresh as Ananthu’s father makes an impact. P Ravishankar as the local business goon with political aspirations delivers to his audiences. You can’t miss out on the couple of inferences to the late Dr Rajkumar; after all, it is meant to drive home the point that the lead actor is his grandson in real life.
